The preamble sets forth that auch nurrifcgee being lawful in certain of the British colo. vies, and laws relating thereto having been duly sanctioned by tha Imperial Parliament, it is expedient that the eUtu«, legitimacy, and rights of inheritanoa imd succession within tho Uuited Kingdom of the issue of such marriages should be distinctly affirmed aud declared.
