ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A young woman named Maud Lawrence had a fall from her bicycle on the East Belt on Saturday. She sustained a fracture of the leg. She was takeu to the hospital. On Saturday afternoon the horse in a gig, belonging to Mr W. Eckersley, fell on the Kaiapoi bridge approach, and tbat gentleman was thrown out of the vehicle. Mr Eckersley though stunned for a few seconds w&b able to walk home.
