Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the neoessary alterations :— MONDAY, MARCH 16. For Northern Ports and Westport, per Brunner, at 11.10 a.m. ; late fee letters, 11 20 a.m.; guard's vau, 12.10 p.m. train. TUESDAY, MARCH 17. For Northern Ports, per Corinna, at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; , guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. I WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America and West Indies (via San Francisoo), Hawaiian Islands and Samoa, and also for Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Takapuna, as follows :— Ordinary letters, 7.45 p m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; books and newspapers, 7.30 p.m.; registered letters, 5 p.m. ; money orders, 4 p.m. ; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. Due London April 22nd. Mails for Raratonga and Tahiti close at Auckland, per Richmond, March 19th. Mails for Fiji, per Taupo, close at Auckland on March 21st, at 7 30 p.m. The Post Offices ab Upper Riccarton and St. Albans will be open for Money Order j and Savings B_nk business from Monday, ! March 16th. .
