Glenlora refused the first fence and Ingare ran off at the top, but Avas soon off again in hot pursuit of Scaltheen. Scaltheen and Brown Bess fleAv the water together, Kildare, Kingswood and Kalo also taking the obstacle in line. Near the bush Scaltheen was in command, with Brown Bess next and Kildare pulling doable. Kalo and Brown Bess both came to grief at the water, and Kildare won by two lengths, Kingswood being an indifferent thin_ The others did not finish. Time, smin losee. Dividend, £1 3s.
