GENERAL BARATLERI'S DEFEAT. Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright Rome, March 9. In the Eudini Ministry Signor Recotti takes the portfolio of Minister of War, and Signor Brin that of Foreign Affairs. The chief defection during the marches of the army in Abyssinia was from General Baratieri's division. It has now been ascertained that General Baratieri did not wait till the end of the disastrous battle on Sunday, and made no attempt to gather the remnant of his defeated army.
March 10. Affairs throughout the country are becoming quieter.
