ITALIAN TROOPS BESIEGED. FURTHER DISASTERS FEARED. THE FEELING IN ITALY. Press Association— By .Telegraph—Copyrifjht Rome, March 6. The Shoas have surrounded Adigrat, which has only three days' supplies. March 7. General Baldiserra reports that the position in Abyssinia is very serious. It is impossible, he says, to relieve 2000 Italian troops who sought refuge at Adigrat. He has asked for reinforcements to relieve the garrison at Asmara. A large army of dervishes surrounded and isolated Kassala, and then cut the wires. Two thousand men had left Asmara for the relief of those surrounded, and it«is feared that they have beeu intercepted. A section of the Chamber of Deputies advise the Government to abandon Erythrea. Fifty cities have carried resolutions protesting against the conduct of Signor Crispi, and demand that peace shall be declared. Three hundred - rioters have been arrested in Rome. Riots have been renewed in Calliano and Milan. Troops charged the mob and fired their revolvers. Fourteen people were wounded. The Shoas captured General Annionde.
