FITZGERALD BROS. CIRCUS.
•» There was a paoked attendance on Saturday afternoon at the circus, when the second matinee performance was given. All the acts went excellently from first to last, and the new artists fully maintained their reputation as for and away the clever eat we have ever had here in their respective lines. That the enterprise and pluck which led the firm to go so far as the Old Country to specially engage talent is recognised by the large attendances every night should be very satisfactory to the two members of the firm. In the evening there was again a full tent. Mdlle Antouio went through her clever and graceful act most successfully. The Eclair Bros, in their contortion act were deservedly applauded, and Professor Peart's sensational dive ioto 3ft 2in of water was one of the features of this oiever and interesting show. The other acts on the programme, including Commodore, the trained horse, Mahomet the talking horse, and Leonard's amusing zoological collection, all went well. As will be seen by a notification elsewhere, Messrs FitzGerald Bros, extend a free invitation to visit tho Circus on Tuesday afternoon to ail the inmates of the various charitable institutions. They also offer to admit any poor children or persona unable to pay for admission on bringing a voucher from the Secretary of the Charitable Aid Board or any business man in the cicy. The season closes tomorrow evening, when Professor Peart will attempt to break the world's record by diving into the tank twice under three minutes. i *~*
