This race had to be run twice, owing to the Stewards deciding that Admiral tfawke, who finished first, had started in front of the post. In the second contest Nestor won, Admiral Hawke not takmg part. The totaiisator money on Admiral Hawke was deducted from the amount in the machine and a dividend of £3 9a paid on Nestor. The machine re opened on the second event, when there were forty-five investors, the dividend being £2 on Neator. HANDICAP STEEPLECHASE, of 100 soys. Three miles and a half.
