TARANAKI RIFLE ASSOCIATION. (PKESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) HAWERA, January 24. At the rifle meeting, the prize winners in the Hawera match, 300, 500 and 700 yards, were:—Wilson (Woodville), 91; Atkinson (Hawera), 91; Milne (Manaia), 90; Lusk (Rahotn), 86. The result of the Manaia match, open to the twenty highest aggregates, were as follows :—Chicken (Woodville), 39; Phillips (Rahotu), 37 ; Barrow (Hawera), 32. In the grand aggregates Wilson (Woodville) secured the championship with 329: Okey (New Plymouth), 312; Chicken (Woodville), 309 ; Milne (Manaia), 309; Atkinson (Hawera), 308. W. H. Nelson, who is in the drug business at Kingville.
