AUCKLAND WOOL SALE.

(PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, January 22. The second wool sale whs held to-day. 2963 bales were catalogued by Hunter and Nolan, Buckland and Sons, Binney, and the Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Although there was a large attendance of buyers the tone was duller than at the December sales, and up till lunch it looked as if id per lb drop on the last sales would be recorded nearly all round. The prices realised are about as follows:—Crossbreds 6|i to B£d, long wool 6|d to Bd. lambs 6£d to 7£d (one line at B£d), pieces 4d to 6d.
