The Under-Secretary for Public Works and Railways, Mr J. H. Blow, left Wellington yesterday by the Takapunn, on an official visit of inspection of the Public Works offices, and railway works in the South. Ho viiits the Otago Central, the Cat line River, and the Seaward Bush rail* ways, and will go over the route of the proposed extension .of the Waipohi-Heriot railway to Roxburgh.
