mc. Mr and Mrs Patrick Campbell bave returned to Forres House. Mr Justice Cooper was a passenger from Duuedin by yesterday's express. The Key. Father Derry and the Very Rev. Dr. Watters came by the same train. Mr aud Mrs J. Leithbcad bave returned to Kaiapoi from a visit to the North Island. Mr Geo. Mcßae, Glens of Tekoa, came into town by last evening's train. Mr M. Murphy, Mr J. G. L. Scott and Mr H. M. Lund went to the Hanmer Springs yesterday. Mr C. A. 0. Hardy, "Rakaia, was in town yesterday. Mr J. D. Moore, Wellington, is on a visit to Christchurch.
