PRIMITIVE' METHODIST CONFERENCE.

The Primitive Methodist Conference at Timaru yesterday had a busy time discussing various reports. The Publishing Committee have a credit of £80. The sum of £25 was voted to the Missionary Committee. The Fire Insurance fund had a credit of £247. The Book Committee have assets £213. Mr J. B. Merritt is the Home Missionary for the year. The Bluff is to be a separate circuit. There are 52 churches, 70 preaching places, and 7503 hearers, and £34,275 is the' value of Church property. The fund for superannuated ministers, widows and orphans is £1020.
