A WORD OF ADVICE.
" Is my name on the Electoral 801 l?" This is a point on which every resident in the Christchurch electorate should satisfy himself without delay. The writ will, in all probability, be issued, in about a week from the present date, and so soon as this is done the rolls will be closed and no more names can be added to them. As we reminded our readers some time ago, all who did not vote at the last election have been struck off and must apply for reinstatement if they desire to vote at the coming election. Every person, male or female, aged twentyone years and upwards, who has been resident for twelve months in New Zealand and for the last three months in the Christchurch electorate, is eligible for voting privileges, and those who are not already registered should at once get their names put upon the roll.
