SATURDAY'S MARKETS.
There was a fair entry of horses in the yards on Saturday, and business was better than for the previous week or two. Medium draughts made from £12 to £16155, harness horses £8 to £10 15s, hacks £7 to £9 15s. There was a good entry of pigs in bhe produce markets, and fair prices were obtained. Sales were effected as follows:—Porkers 20s to 255, stores 7s 9d to 15s, weaners 4s to 7s 6d. The entry of poultry was small, bnt there was a good demand. Roosters made from 3s 6d to 4s 9d, hens 2s 3d to 4s, pullets 2s 3d to 4s 3d, ducks ls 9d to 3s, Seese 2s 6d to 3s 3d, tnrkey hens 3s 6d to a 6d, gobblers 15s to 20-.
