The Rev. Mr Carr was a passenger from Wellington by tha Penguin on Saturday. Colonel Fox was a passenger from Wellington by the Rnahine yesterday. The Rev. W. J. Habens returned to Wellington by the Penguin on Saturday. The Hon. J. G. Ward went by the same steamer. Mr Maurice Joel and Miss Joel returned to Dunedin on Saturday. Mr G. H. J add, Waddington, is in town. Mr C. Zille, Dunedin, is in town. Mr J. Bailantine and Miss Ballantine, England, are on a visit to Christchurch. Mr J. E. Fairbairn, Oxford, England, is on a visit here.
