[Br Telegraph.) (FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.) HOKITIKA, January 3. A heavy downpour of rain this morning caused the flooding of the Westland Racing Club's course, and the meeting, which was to commence to-day, has been perforce postponed. The weather shows signs of clearing, and the probability is that tho races will proceed to-morrow and conclude on Monday. There was a heavy train from Greyrnouth this morning, but many of the excursionists return to-night.
