The Rev. Mr Matu arrived from the South by the Waihora yesterday. Dr. Ramsay arrived by the< Talune yesterday.
Dr. Fenwick was a passenger for Wellington by the Waihora last night.
Sir Bruce and Lady Burnside were passengers for Auckland by the Waihora last night.
The Rev. Mr Cruden was a passenger for Dunedin by the Talune yesterday.
Captain Chrisp was a passenger for the Bluff by the same steamer.
Mr Arthur McDonald returned South yesterday by the express. Messrs W. Robertson and R. Martin went by the same train.
THE DARK SIDE OF CYCLING.
Nothing but the bright side of cycling ba.i been written during the last few months. We are told of the speed of wheeling all over the world, with the estimate of experts that the output for 1896 will be quite 2,000,000 cycles. Breakages, followed with vexatious delay of repairers, is the dark side, bur. this is made bright by the introduction of interchangeable cycles.
