HE HAD NEVER SEEN A LOCOMOTIVE.
Recently in Victoria a man, aged between eighty and ninety, undertook a long journey for the express purpose of having a ride in a railway train. He arrived in Port Fairy in 1840 and has a son resident in the district of the age of fifty-three, but up to last month be had never seen a locomotive.
