HORORATA.
The annual school treat and distribution of prizes was hold at Hororata on New Year's Day. Iv the absence of Sir John Hall the prizes wero distributed by Mr John Nelson, Chairman of the School Committee. Tho following is the prize list— Staudard Vl.—Good pass, Willio Nelson, Victor Maffey ; fair pass, Bertie Maffey, Harry Baliagh, Sidney Thwaite. Staudard V.—Fair pass, Willio Baker, Jane Davios, Nellie Tizzard. Standard IV.—Good pass, Leo. Maffey, Lizzio Brown ; fair pass, Johu Stacey, John Tizzard, Robert Ballagb, Harry Prestidsse. Standard lll.—Good Suss, Fanny Brownlie; fair pass, Walter elaon, John Brown, Ellie Percy, Cissie Baker. Standard ll.—Good pass, Arthur Nelson, P. Quartermain, Harry Skinner, .Joo McSweeney ; fair pass, Fred Brownlie, Annie Davie3. Standard I. — Good pass, George Burson, Willie Brown, James Baliagh, Claude McCarthy ; fair pass. Hector Howarth, lies Baker, Albert Brown, Daisy Lorrett. Master's prizes for special proficiency — Standard VI., Willie Nelson, Victor Maffey; Standard IV., Leo. Maffey, Lizzie Brown; Staudard 111., Fanny Brownlie. Sewing prizes—First class, Mary Baliagh, Nellie Tizzard ; second class, Lizzie Brown, Mary Hartnell; third class, Cissie B.tker, Ellio Percy. Darning prizss (Lady Hall's) —Nellio Hartnell, Nellie Baker. Miss Meozies' prize for attendance — Arthur Nelson.
