Wellington, December 23. The Senior Championship match between the Wellington and Rival Clubs was brought to a conclusion on Tuesday evening, when the former won by. seven wickets. At the start of the play" Wellington had lost two wickets for 41 runs, and they still required 84 to win. The not outs when ploy ceased the previous week were Ashbolt (14) and Howell (11). Ashbolt hit Howard twice in one over for 6 and Holdship made a hit for 7 off Crawfurd.
