Sir.—ln your issue of the 2nd inst. a correspondent signing himself " A Christian Priest" throws doubt on my statement, that according to the Bible, or rather a marginal note in it, the creation of the world was 4004 B.c, and then cays, " Many will have read this statement with great interest, and will be anxious, with mc, to see this Bible of which •W. 8 ., speaks. I should ba much obliged if • W.B. would let us know where this Bible is to be seen, as it must be an edition which is very little known." " A Christian Priest , ' must bo either a very ignorant priest or wilfully misstating and misrepresenting. No one should know better than he himself that there is ouly one authorised edition of the Bible for the British dominions. In that be will fiud what I have stated.— Yours, &c, W.B.
