(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) MASTERTON, January 2. There was glorious weather and a large Attendance at the Wairarapa Raciug Club's Spring Meeting yesterday. Much Ado and her rider and part owner (Cooper), and Oddfellow and his rider (W. Buckeridge), were disqualified for three months for failing to try in the Open Hurdles. The following are the results : — FLYING HANDICAP—King's Bewman 1, Wamote 2, Review 3. Dividend, £llfs. OPEN HURDLES—Mutineer 1. Oddfellow 2, Much Ado 3. Dividend, £2 6s. Not the slightest effort was mode by the second and third horse to overtake Mutineer.

HACK HURDLES—Scrap Iron 1, Bull's Eye 2, Daisy Bell 3. Dividend, £3 4s. TRIAL HACK RACE—Vaseline I, The Miner 2, Ruby 3. Dividend, £418s. WAIRARAPA CUP—Legislator 1, Revolution 2, Primero 3. Won by a neck. Time, 3min 13isec. Dividend, £711s. HACK RACE—Bona Fide 1, Springtime 2, Slaiden 3. Dividend, £1510s. GRAND STAND WELTER—Strath Braan 1, Voltaire 2, Review 3. Dividend, £113s. For .the Wairarapa Racing Club's second day's racing there was glorious weather and a fine attendance. The sum of £7990 was put through for the two days, being £743 more than last summer meeting.
