ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A boy about twelve, named Herman Hempleman, eon of Mr J. Hempleman. Kaiapoi, was drowned while bathing near the Kaiapoi railway bridge yesterday. His companions missed him, and searched along the bank, and getting a boat and paddle, reoovered the body in abont twenty minutes. Dr. Parsons was sent for, nut life was extinct.
