Last June,' Dick Crawford brought bis twelve-months-old child, suffering from infantile diarrhoea, to mc. It had been weaned at four months old and- had always been sickly. I gave it the usual treatment in such cases, but without benefit. The-child kept growing thinner, until it weighed but little more than when born, or perhaps 101b.
