FOREIGN MISSIONS.

Canon Scott Robertson's twenty-fourth annual summary of the money contributed by all sections of Christians in the British lalea in support of foreign missionary work shows that for the financial year 1894 the total sum voluntarily given amounted to £1,375,571. Only once has this total hasn exceeded. In I{J3l the voluntary contributions reached £1,421,503. The channel* of contribution selected by the British supporters of Christian missionary enterprise in 1894 were as follows :—Church of Jbtigland societies, £572,712; joint aoeieniee of Churchmen aud Non-conformists, £211,486; Non-conformist societies in England and Wales, £379 550 : Scotch and Irish Presbyterian societies, £195,944 ; Roman Catholic societies, £15,879.
