Tho Victorian representatives for the Australasian Amateur Championship meet-iug—-Wettenhall, Moir.Townley, Wingrove, Boyle, Barrett and Holt—arrived on U/iri9tmas Day, and were received by some members of the D.A.A.C. They had some practice on the Caleiiouian Ground. Mr J. W. Doyle, the high jutnpchampion, with a poor take-off, cleared s£o Bsin, which beats the New Zealand record. (Br Telegbafh ) (FROM OtTH CORRESPONDENT.) WELLINGTON, December 26. The main contingent of the New South Wale* Amateur Athlttio Team arrived on Christmas afternoon. They had a practice at the Basin Reserve the same evening, twice to-day, and run again to-morrow, when they rejoin the Mararoa. E. K. Oorner (Sydney Harriers), is very fir, and wiU take beating in both the Half and Mile; H. W. C. Bigge, the long distance ronner, m Buffering from a swollen inatep. R- Masterton (Da*linghurst Harriers), will compete in the Quarter aud Long Jump. J. X wormley is over for the Jumps. The only Queueland representative is C. Campbell l(Toowong Harriers), a useful man up to halt a mile, who will make his first appearance at Raneiora on January Ist. Mr B. S. Marks, Hon. Secretary New South Wales Association, is Manager of the team. Mr B. J. White (Secretary Sydney Harriers), who ran at the Championehip Meeting in Auckland, Mr L. D. Phillips (Darlinghurst Harriers), Messrs S. W. Hughes and J. Wiseman (Sydney Harriers), accompany tne team.
