NEW ZEALAND TEAM.
Mr A. Clarlc, a member of the New Zealand team, arrived from Dunedin las'; nigho. Mr Fisher arrives to-night. Mr Downes will arrive to-morrow, and Mr Rains on Saturday.
A game was played at Lancaster Park on Christmas Day between the Springston and Hardware teams, when the former won on the first innings by 123 runs. Scores:-— Springston 180 (A. Kimber 57, E. Keast 46, A. McDonald 25, Bromley 16, J. Ke_.sC 11), Hardware, first innings 57 (Frankish 19), second innings 126 for nine wickets (Morley 33 not out, Henry 28. Truscott 24, King 11). For the winners J_. Keast, A. McDonald aud Kimber bowled best, aa did Turner and Frankish for the losers. The following will represent the Sumner C.C. v New Brighton to-day. Play to Btart 11a.m. at Sumner:—Monck jun., Barker, Hair, Roberts, Atkinson, Robinson, Bergh, Husey, Lawrence and another.
