LORD GLASGOW AND PARTY.
A Press Association message from Auckland reports that his Excellency the Governor and party proceeded to Kohokohu on Tuesday morning. From there they visited Mangamuka Gorge in the steamer Tearoha, and returned to Oponosi. They spend Christmas at Onoke, at Colonel Noake's residence, formerly Judga Man* ing's. On Thursday Lady Glasgow and party proceed up the Taheke river in the Tearoha. From Taheke they drive to Pakaraka, where they will be the guests of Mr Williams. They will have lunch on the lake with Mr Paterson, of Kaikoke. On Saturday they will arrive at Kawakawa, joining the Hinemoa at Opua. Meantime the Governor leaves Oponoui in the Hinemoa on Thursday afternoon, and will call at Three Kings, arriving at Mongonui on Friday, and at Opua on Saturday, where Lady Glasgow, and the party will rejoin the vessel. They will remain in the neighbourhood till Monday, on Tuesday will arrive at Whangarei, and on Wednesday, New Tear's Day, will reach Auckland. The party have experienced splendid weather ever since leaving Wellington on the 14th, and are enjoying themselves immensely, driving, boatiug and picnicking.
