Kenny, the man found iv Albert Park at night with dynamite, burglar's tools, and skeleton keys, was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment for having the article* in his possession. WELLINGTON, December 3. The Grand Jury threw out the bill against ex-Constable Nestor, of Efcetahuna, for perjury; the Judge said he thought they were perfectly right. John Idle for breaking into a local store received twelve months' imprisonment. Thos. Nordisch, for stealing a horse at Masterton, was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment; Thoa. Williams, seaman on the barque Alice, who stabbed another sailor on Sunday morning, wa> sentenced to four months' imprisonment. BDNEDIN, December 3. Marcus Little for stealing lamps was admitted to probation in two recognisances of £50 each. In the case of Henry Parnell and Thomas Koberteon for robbery front the person the latter was admitted to. pro* bation for twelve months, and Parnell was sentenced to one month's imprisonment. Thomas Mayne for theft, was sentenced to six months. Mary Ann MoGuire pleaded guilty to assault, and was admitted to probation on her husband's recognisance. William Bloy for a breach of the Bankruptcy Act at Lawrence, was, after the jury had retired for two hours, fovtnd guilty on two counts, namely, omitting to keep propet books and contracting a debt of £16 12a 6d without having reasonable expectations of paying it. Sentence was deferred; Arohibald Blue, for breaking and entering, wai sentenced to twelve months' hard labour.
