Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, November 30. At the Bicycle Club's meeting the Mile International Scratch Race was won by Martin (the American), Parson 2, Harris 3. A great finish; won by a wheel. Time, 2min 38 4 sth sec. The Victoria MilePayne, 60yds, 1; Pither, 40yds, 2; Megson, 40yds, 3. Won easily. Five heats of the Austral Wheel Race have been decided, and the race will be completed on Saturday next. Parsons pub up a record for the Australian Half Mile, covering the distance in 57 l-stn sec. Harris, the English champion, and Zimmerman, are matched for a mile raoe. The contest takes place on New Year's Day.

The twenty-five-mile team race between the Invercargill Cycling Club and the Otago Cycling Club took plnca on Saturday, and proved mosc unsatisfactory. There were six in each team, and the one scoring the least number of points was to win. The result was declared to be—Otago Club, 26 points, 1; Invercargill, 23 ; Invercargill Club, 29 points, 2. When twenty-four and a half miles had been covered the men, who had been riding in a bunch, nearly all same down. The hind wheel of one had been touched just at a corner, and man and machine fell, another falling on him. To avoid these two the others went flying into a bank, and most of the men.came down. No one was seriously hurt. The men picked themselves up aa beet they coaid. McPherson (Invercargill) ran round the track with his machine on his back until he got another machine. The race was awarded to Otago, but it would have been better if it bad been declared no race. McPherson easily secured the trophy for the rider who was moat often first at the end of each mile. The Two Mile Open Race waa won by W« A. Masters, 150 yds ; Home, 80yds, 2. The 440 Yards Running_Handicap was won by T. Collier, S4yds ; W. F. Bennett, 26yds, 2. Time, 52sec. The Five Mile Novice Bicycle Rice was won by C. Moore, 120 yds; Usaber, 80yds, 2 ; S. Minn, scr, 3.
