UNDERSKIRTS.
The petticoats shown are triumphs of ingenuity. Sixteen yards of silk are required for their manufacture, and the round<ut flounce is headed by a ruche of chiffon :tr silk, and finished with a kilt of the latter. w fnder the flounce there are two little indekendent frills. The frou-frou of such a Petticoat may be more readily imagined [tan described in a good glace or striped or ailk.
