TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir, —You say in your leader on the above subject that what is wanted is an honest aud capable man who desires above all things honest and economical administration of 'the affairs of the colony. But in the same article you sneeringly say that Mr Thomas Taylor will go to the poll in the interests of the excitable and extreme section of the prohibition party. lam ouly a woman and you are an editor, bu'j I should like to know where you are going to find a ir.an more honest than Mr Taylor, more capable than Mr Taylor, or one who desires more earnestly than he honest and economical administration of the colony.—Yours, &c, An Elector.
