FRIDAY'S PRODUCE REPORT.

(BY OUR COMMERCIAL EDITOR.) The past week hae seen bat little business done ia grain and produce, and the main feature baa been a slightly easier tone in wheat and a steady market for oats. Bayers are acting with great caution, and the enquiry from outside porta having lulled a bit, makes business rather difficult to carry through. Wheat—Sales on the basis of 33 8d at country stations are recorded during the past few days, and it is difficult to gee buyers to go beyond this limit. Pearl ia most in request, and stocks of this variety are apparently very low now. Oats—Canadians command from 2s to 2s Id; Sparrnwbilla, 2i; Dans, Danish and Tartan, Is 10i to Is lid, delivered at country station*. Holders of Chaff are pretty firm, and offers of 62s 6d were refused to-day, and 65 s wanted. There do not appear to be many lines left unsold now. '■ Barley—Small lots from various sources' come to hand from time to time, and find buyers at prices varying from 2* 4d to 33, according to quality. Potatoes—-The seaion may be said to be

practically over, and ie seems very doubtful now if there will be any further outside enquiry. The"market is weak at. 30s country stations, and buyers are generally disinclined to venture further iv thorn. CocKSrcor haa seen a lillle better enquiry during the weak, aud prices' are steady at 31d for good undressed eeed, 31 to tor medium, and 4*<l to 4*l for machine dresaod. Rtbgrass is firm, and euquiriea are fairly numerous. Good heavy machine dressed lots are saleable at Is to 4i 3il [These quotations, unless otliericisc specified, are the ntt cash prices paid to the producer free of brokerage or commission, and for delivery at country stations within a twenty, five mile radius of town. For delivery on board ship at Lytteltan add Sd to Sμ per bushel]
