SATURDAY'S MARKETS.
There was a small entry of horsea in the yards on Saturday, and mostly of inferior quality. Only a limited amount of business was in consequence done. Draughts sold from £6 to £10, harness hones £6 15s to i£9 10*, hacks £5 to £8. There was a medium entry of pigs of average quality. Stickers sold from 3s to ss, stores from 7s 6d to 12s, porkers from 13s to 20*. There was a capital sale of poultry, whioh were en*
tered in numbers a little below the average. Roosters sold from 2a 9d to 4s, hens from 2s to 2s 9J, ducks np to 33 9d, geese up to 43 6d, turkey hens to 10a and cocks to 14s.
