CHRISTCHURCH. Saturday, August 3. ' (Before H. W. Bishop, Esq., S.M.) Case Dismissed.—Josephine Smith wae charged by Elizabeth Henderson with deserting her child who had been put oat to nurse. It appeared that the information had been laid under a misapprehension of the mother's intentions, and this being explained the case was dismissed.
