AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
Press Association— Br Telesrraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, August 1. At a meeting of the delegates of the Amateur Athletic Association it was agreed to accept the main definition of an amateur laid down by the London Amateurs' Association, with a proviso empowering the Rowing Association to deal with the question of manual amateurs. It was also agreed that an amaUur forfeiting his status in any one class of sport forfeits it in all.
