DUNISDIN, August 1. Nicholas Been, a foreigner, was ftozen to death last night at St. Ulair, near the rarecourse. Ho reetded wilh his wife aud family in South Dunedin. He left the Metropole Hotel, St. Ciair, at 9.45 p.m. after having, it is said, several drinks. He was in a dying condition when, found. He appears to have sab down and dropped off to sleep despite the sharp frost. > ■ ■-*.
