A general meeting of the New Zeal&nß Cyclihts' Alliance was held last night. Present—Messrs P. Denby (io the chair), --? E. A. Eugland, J. O. Cusack, J. B. Unreu-. ; eon, A. E. White, F. J. Dunn, T. Hunt, of Welli-gton, won the bicycle race at the Druids' Sporte on Apt" ■ 251h, and received later from the Secretary the money (£5), which he banded to th* rTreasurer of the W.A.A. and C.C., andfroffl him received an order for a trophy. Mf Hunt wished a ruling aa to whether he had lost his amateur status. « The Executive reported having replied . that Mr Hunt had sot, and their action wasappioved. A letter was read from the Napse* Athletic and Cycling Clubs explaining balance sheet of the Championship meeting. Mr Guhaok reported that the Executive, had conferred with the N.Z. A. A. A. Com* mittee, and approved of tho sums to 00 allowed or rejected. The meeting endorsed the action of the,. Executive. The following reinstatements were made :—R. P; Gibbia, H. 8. Curtis, B. M. E. Williams, J. W.. Easson, R. F. Bell, P. G. Easson, West Coast A, A. and C.C. The annual meeting was fixed for Friday September 13th, and the proceeding* closed * with a vote of thanks to the Chairman.
