As it has been found that several men employed on the relief vrorke have been falsely representing themselves asbonafide residents of Christchurch, His Worship the Mayor and Mr W. R. Mitchell intend visiting the various relief works and weeding one all impostors, giving their places to more deserving people. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, June 30. The Unemployed Relief Committee declined to accept the £100 voted by the City Council, on ihe conditions which were ■tipul&ted as to its being devoted to certain works carried out under the control of the corporation officers.
