INVERCARGILL WOOL SALES.

(PB-38 ASSOCIATION TXI.IOTBAM.) INVERCABGILL, February 6. About 3000 bales were snbmitted at the second of tbe wool sales to-day. The lots were mostly from small farmers. Fine crossbreds bronght 7d to 7£d ; the top price was Bd, and the average about 6|d. Merino was much neglected, 4_d being the highest price. The decline was most-marked on low conditioned, coarse, and stained wools.
