AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
(PBIBS ASSOCIATION Ta_—Oß.A-L) AUCKLAND, January 28. -~ The Auckland Amateur Athletic Club have selected the following team to represent Auckland at the championship meeting to be held at Napier on February 22nd and 23rd :—IOO and 250 yards, James and Francis; quarter-mile, Bull and Francis; long jump, T. Roberts and W. H. Martin ; high jump, E. T. Laurie; bicycle events, Surman and Pilkiugton; one and three mile walks, Creamer and Brady; half-mile. Beere and Bull; oue and three miles run, Davis, Beere, Farquhar, and O'Connor : 120 yards aud 440 yards hurdles, T. Roberts and W. H. Martin ; putting the weight and throwing the hammer, T. O'Connor aud Rhodes. The team leave on February 12th.
