STATE BANK.
TO THB EDITOB OF THB PftBSS. Sib,—l have from time to time been amused at the letters contributed to your journal over the signature *' D; Naleria." Xhe writer appears to have as much knowledge of the subjects he deals wii«h as the ordinary mind has of the nebala in' Orion. If D. Naleria, will purchase one or two of the elementary text books. upon economics, and- read them , carefully, he will, when he gets a little information, be probably ashamed of the nonsense he has written. At present he is like % man .'attempting to criticise the binomial theorem who has never learnt the rudiments even of algebra. ' Any schoolmaster will put D. Naleria in the way of selecting a few books which will assist him perhaps in coming to the conelusioa that the less he writes the better until he has learned his A B C in the science of economics.
