CRICKET CHAT.
"Weekly Press and Referee." By Dabk Blue. Ernest J. Hiscbck, a prominent Adelaide cricketer, died on December 16th from inflammation of the bowels. The deceased, who had only been married a month, was a member of the Adelaide Club and had played in intercolonial matches. The £103 which was collected for Sydney Gregory Iα recognition of his fine batting in the first test match included a cheque for £25 from the trustees of the ground and £5 from Major Wardlll on behalf of the Melbourne Cricket Club.
