CHEESEPARING.
The Groymouth Star reports that the Mayor of that town has received a circular from the Colonial Secretary's office intimating that on and alter January Ist, the Post-office clock will be no longer maintained by the Department. We imagine, says the Star, the Borough Council will allow the clock to come to a " full stop," rather than submit to the ahsard proposition of being burdened with the keepiug of Government property in repair.
