Mr Justice Williams has stayed- the proceedings against the old Directors of the JSew Zealaud Loan and Mercantile Agency Company on the grounds that the new Company would be commercially injured. It was most reluctantly he did this; for it was unfortunate and regretabie from every point of view that the charges should remain unsettled. The new Company cousented to pay the costs. November 16.
