MIDLAND C.C. v WAREHOUSEMEN'S C.C.
Lawrence and Pearce, the two not outa, continued the M.C.C.inninga. Lawrenceoaly added 2 to his previous score ani then retired with a useful and prettily made 56. Pearce she honours with Lawrence. Indeed had it not been for these two, the total would have teen a poor one, for the remainder did little and the innings closed for 173. . i The Warehousemen commenced their second innings with a deficit of 88. The bowling of Robertson and Pearce appeared too good to do much with, and though moat of the batsmen made a few, they failed to save the innings defeat. The fielding all round was good.
