RECEPTION OF THE PRINCESS ALIX.

The journey o£ the Princess Alix through Russia was like a State reception, triumphal arches being erected in all the towns she stopped at. Replying to a deputation at Moscow, she said she was deeply touched at the welcome that had been accorded her. Immediately upon her arrival the Czarewitch took her to the Czar. The meeting of the stricken monarch and the young bride was 01 a touching nature. The Czar was afterwards excited and convulsive. The marriage is to take place to day. October 25. A bulletin to-day states that the Ozar passed a good night bub his appetite is no better. There is no increase of the somnolence, but the dropsy is slightly worse. He lives chiefly on buttermilk.. On Sunday he received the sacrament. The Czarewitch has signed all State papers since Thursday last. The reports that the wedding of the Czarewitch and Princess Alix was celebrated yesterday are not yet) confirmed. The Princess was warmly welcomed on her arrival in Livadia, where triumphal arches were erected, and there were aaauy other marks of the popular affection.
