GRAIN AND PRODUCE. The market continues quiet and is void a any new feature, the transactions that Acv taking place being simply u> fill local requirements. The weather could uot be better for the growing crops, 'which reporfo cay are looking wonderfully well, whilst om pasture lauds are yielding abundance 01 feed. Sowing for the most part is over. Wheat—The enquiry for milling lin w for iutorprovincial wanta h»s fallen away somewhat, and today's prices are barely maintained. Fowls' wheat ia in request at quotations. ,■ Oats are offering somewhat freely, but fa the absence of any real buaines3 prices are easier. ' B&rley 13 again absolutely stagnant. Potatoes —The market continue* i ac , pressed, and prices are almost nominal. Grass Seeds —With the exception of * few occasional orders for late sowing, the spring demand may now be considered i practically at an end. , - Beans and Peas are difficult to move at) even a concession on late rates. . i Dairy Produce—The supply of butter to-day is in excess of the demand but prices have not as yet shown any quotable ohuge.
