Tone of market—Verygood for weaners a_d stores, with demand iv excess of supply. Number of poultry sold, 690. Heavy roosters, 3s 6dto4s9d; right do, 3a to 3s 3d ; old hens, 2s 3d to 2s 9d ; young, hens, 3s to 3s 6d ; ducks, 3s 6d to 5. 6d ; geese, 5s lo 6a. Tone of market—Brisk for all sorts of poultry, especially good roosters. Messrs Wilson and Sons sold 210 pigs. Heavy bacouera 35a to 425, light do 30s to 34a,. heavy porkers 25s to 27s 6d, light do 18s to 20s, stores 13s to 15a, weaners 6s 9d to 9*3, breeding sows 36a to 555. Tone of market —Very fair sale indeed. Number of poultry Bold 630.' Heavy roosters"4s to 4s < 9d, light do 33 3d to 4s, old hens 2s co 2s 6d, young hens 2s 6d to 3s, ducks 4s to 4s 6d, geese 4s 6d to 5a 3d ; turkeys, cocks 16s per pair, hens 8s per pair. Tone of market—Small supply, but good demand.'
